“No Development Can Be Achieved in a Situation of Fear, Insecurity”…. Haruna Sa’eed Appeals
Following the outbreak of clashes in certain parts of Kaduna state on Sunday which resulted to loss of lives and properties, citizens have been urged to eschew violence which will bring no good to anyone.
The incidents of Thursday at Kasuwan magaini, a market community which escalated into reprisal attacks, has left scores dead with others severely injured.
These attacks have been condemned by prominent indigenes including Mallam Haruna Sa’eed Kajuru, the Kaduna state Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
In a statement condemning the dastardly carnage that took place at Kasuwan Magani on Thursday the 18th October, 2018, Mallam Haruna Yunusa Sa’eed Kajuru, one of the prominent sons of Kajuru local government has extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the innocent citizens who were gruesomely murdered on the account of going about, doing their daily businesses and looking for means of livelihood when these evil men came and unleashed terror on them.
In a statement signed by the gubernatorial candidate, he condemned in strongest terms, these repeated acts of terror being unleashed on innocent people and equally sympathizes with all the affected victims and also commiserates with the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
He, therefore, calls on all authorities concerned to be more committed to their responsibilities of protecting the lives and properties of Nigerians as no development can be achieved in a situation of fear, insecurity, and chaos.
Also, he also called on the government and the security agencies to work hard to ensure a quick release and safe return of the paramount ruler of Adara land, the Agwom of Adara from the hands of his abductors and ensure the perpetrators are brought to book.
He further stressed the need for all hands to be on deck to stop this incessant massacre of lives and destruction of properties, as Kaduna state is becoming a theatre of blood for no just cause, which must be stopped.
In his swift reaction, Mallam Haruna Sa’eed urged the government to make vigorous supplications for relief, assistance, and ease against the evil masterminds of the nagging insecurity plaguing our state.
Finally, he also commiserate with the entire people of Kaduna State as he received the news of another fresh crisis that broke out on Sunday 21st October 2018 within the Kaduna metropolis and its environs which he condemned in its totality and therefore asked the government to double their efforts and be proactive in ensuring harmonious co-existence and lasting trust among the citizenry of the state.
